On 09/03/96 Hoefler sexually assaulted and robbed an unknown 23 year old female in Chelan County. The victim reported that she was walking home alone and was approached by Hoefler. Hoefler struck the victim in the head from behind, knocked her down and drug her behind a nearby house where Hoefler sexually assaulted the victim. During the assault the victim fought and Hoefler struck the victim several times with his fists and a piece of wood.

Hoefler also has criminal convictions for assault 4th, obstructing a law enforcement officer, sale of liquor to minor and complicity to theft 1st.

On 11/04/96 Hoefler plead guilty to rape 1st and robbery 1st for the 09/03/96 sexual assault in Chelan County. Hoefler also plead guilty to complicity to theft 1st for an earlier event on 08/29/96 in Chelan County. On 12/31/96 Hoefler was sentenced to a total of 136 months in prison for the rape 1st, robbery 1st and complicity to theft 1st convictions.

Hoefler is to have not contact with the victim for life. Hoefler is also not to enter any playground, park or school yard. Hoefler must register as a sex offender with the county Sheriff’s Office in which he resides. Hoefler is on community placement with DOC for 36 months until 05/18/09. Hoefler is currently receiving sex offender treatment.
