On 01/28/00 Leavell was arrested for indecent liberties and communication with a minor for immoral purposes in Okanogan County. On 01/03/00 Leavell had sexual intercourse with a 16 year old female while the victim’s 11 year old sister was present. During the investigation it was also learned that Leavell was in possession of child pornography. On 01/22/01 Leavell was convicted of twelve counts of unlawful possession of depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct with sexual motivation in Okanogan County. On 10/10/02 Leavell was arrested for thirteen counts of unlawful possession of depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct and felon in possession of a firearm in Okanogan County. On 11/20/03 Leavell was convicted of one count of unlawful possession of depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct with sexual motivation and unlawful possession of a firearm 2nd degree in Okanogan County.

Leavell was sentenced to six months in jail for the 01/22/01 conviction. Leavell served five months in jail. Leavell did not receive sex offender treatment in jail. Leavell was sentenced to an exceptional sentence of four months in jail for the 11/20/03 conviction. Leavell is currently not on probation or parole. Leavell must register as a sex offender.
