On 09/09/92 Pierce plead guilty in Thurston County to the charge of rape of a child 2nd degree and rape of a child 3rd degree. When Pierce was between the ages of 40 and 42 he sexually assaulted a close friends two daughters ages 12 and 15 years old. Pierce was at the victim’s home while the victim’s mother was out. These are Pierce's only sex related convictions.

On 11/17/92 Pierce was sentenced to 78 months on the rape of child 2nd degree charge and 30 months on the rape of a child 3rd charge. All but 6 months of the sentence was suspended under the Special Sex Offender Sentencing Alternative (SSOSA). Pierce later violated the conditions of his SSOSA and his SSOSA was revoked and his suspended sentence imposed. While in prison Pierce was assessed at the Twin Rivers Treatment Center and determined to be a high priority for sex offender treatment and was offered treatment. Pierce refused sex offender treatment. Pierce’s SSOSA evaluation indicated that Pierce is attracted to young girls and may be seen as predatory. Pierce has self disclosed other incidents of sexual abuse of juveniles ranging from age 6 to 15. As of 10/10/04 Pierce is no longer on probation. Pierce is required to register as a sex offender with the Sheriff’s Office in the county he is living in.
