On 10-20-08 the Okanogan County Sheriff's Office investigated a robbery at an orchard cabin on Hart road. During the course of the investigation Deputies arrested Frank R. Martinez, 26 of Omak and Caitlin L. Baker, 19 of Okanogan.
The Okanogan County Sheriff's Office is currently looking for a third suspect. His name is Valentin Contreras-Garcia, 24 years of age. He is 5' 11" tall, weighs approximately 200 pounds, has brown eyes and short brown hair. Garcia has connections throughout the county, including the Oroville and Tonasket area, Omak and Okanogan area and the Brewster and Pateros area. If anyone has information on Garcia they are asked to please contact the Okanogan County Sheriff's Office at 509-422-7232. Garcia is wanted for First Degree Robbery and should be considered possibly armed and dangerous.

On 10-20-08 at around 11:53 PM Okanogan County Deputies were called to an orchard cabin on Hart Road reference a robbery. At the scene they contacted the male victim who said that he had been at the residence when a female and two males came to the residence. The victim said he knew the female and when he opened the door, the two male subjects forced their way into the residence both armed with knives.
The victim said that they held a knife to his throat and kept demanding his money. The victim kept telling them that he did not have any money. The victim said that the suspects then grabbed his luggage, clothes, cowboy boots, an air rifle and a guitar and left the scene with the female.
Sgt. Kevin Arnold and Deputy Kevin Kinman followed up several leads and came up with possible suspects in the robbery.
On 10-28-08 at around 2:10 PM Deputy Tony Hawley spotted a vehicle on the Conconully Hwy and Epley Road who had ran the stop sign. As Deputy Hawley was stopping the vehicle the driver sped up, turned into an orchard and ran from the vehicle.
At the scene, Frank R. Martinez, 26 of Omak, was located in the vehicle. Martinez was one of the suspects involved in the robbery on Hart Road. Martinez was taken into custody and a search of the area was done for the driver, who we believe was the other suspect in the robbery, but he was not located.
Later on in the evening of the 28th, Deputy Kinman and Sgt. Arnold located Caitlin L. Baker, 19 of Okanogan was located and taken into custody for the robbery. Both Baker and Martinez were booked into the Okanogan County Jail on charges of Robbery. Deputies are still attempting to locate the third suspect in the case.
